Fishing Game

Brackey's 2025.1 GameJam Submission. Theme - "nothing can go wrong"

So I started the game jam like 5 days late with a very vague idea. All ive managed to get done so far is some basic pixel artwork and simple animations. But there is virtually no gameplay and the game just opens to a looping animation.

But....

I just want to submit to this game jam because i NEED to actually start making games and make alot in order to get better. Sooooo.... i'm just going to submit what i've done and maybe if I'm not lazy, I'll actually do more. 

Anyway so rate my game 5 stars pls in terms of *vibes* or like atmosphere or something. 

idea - starts out a calm fishing game, then your boat gets attacked by a giant sea monster and you have to collect fish, do minigames and get money to repair the boat and (build defenses?). Roguelike maybe, see how far you can get before dying?
